18 summers.
That's all
we get.
A health scare has a way of snapping everything into focus. When it happened to our family, we didn't think about work or schedules — we thought about time. Specifically, the time we had left with our kids under our roof.
It's been said by the time our children turn 18, we will have already spent up to 90% of all the time we will ever spend with them in our entire lifetime.
That number stopped us cold. We refused to let those years blur past us. So we made a plan — our 18×18 Matrix. Eighteen audacious, intentional, memory-making experiences to have with our kids before they turn 18. Not just giving them incredible memories — but gifting ourselves with them, too.
Because their one childhood
is our ONE parenthood.
As a busy mom with a career, I know I'm not alone in wanting this. Families aren't longing for more stuff — they're longing for connection. For presence. For memories that last longer than childhood itself.
